Luau Hula Dancer Cake - February 2011

Saturday, February 12, 2011:

My friends and I had a luau-themed party for two of our roommates' birthdays. Sara made the party epic by creating this hula dancer cake for us! It tasted even better than it looked too! The majority of the cake was white cake, but the "boobs" were chocolate. Only the coconut bra and the lei were not edible.

Pinkalicious Cupcakes - February 2011

Saturday, February 12, 2011:

Our other little cousin -- Kirsten -- also had her birthday in February. Kirsten currently loves this new series of books called Pinkalicious about a little girl who loves pink so much that she eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink.

Sara did a remarkable job recreating the cupcakes from the book! They look perfectly Pinkalicious, if I may say so myself:
